In addition to activities and social events we also offer additional  services to Hocking County senior adults who are 60+ years.  Senior Services listed are funded by Alzheimer Respite,  the 317 Board, United Way,  Donations and Local Levy Dollars.

Scenic Hills Senior Center supports Health & Wellness as a part of Older Adults daily lives.   

Through the center's partnership with other Health Care Agencies we offer a variety of

Health & Wellness Health Talks and Seminars. 

  

 Free Blood Pressures, Monthly Free Legal Service, Balancing My Health Classes, Tai Chi, Workout Gym,  Chair Yoga,

Delay the Disease - Parkinson's Class,  Line Dancing, Billiards, Health Fair, Free Bingo, Chair Volleyball and more.

Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP)

Scenic Hills Senior Center is proud to be an official site for Medicare Enrollment.  Marjie Moore, Executive Director,  is a certified OSHIIP Counselor.  Watch for open enrollment in October.

TRANSPORTATION:

For Seniors 60+ years we offer out-of-county medical transportation on an appointment basis.

NOTARY PUBLIC SERVICE:

Scenic Hills Senior Center offers a free notary public service.  Please call ahead to make an appointment.  740-385-6581.  You must bring a form of identification, Drivers's license, Birth Certificate, Passport or ID issued by an an employer.

SENIOR NUTRITION CENTER:

Scenic Hills Senior Center is a Congregate Meal Site for the Meals-On-Wheels Program.   A well-balanced meal for seniors age 60+ Monday - thru Friday @ 11:00 am.  Please call HAPCAP at 740-385-6813 to reserve a lunch 24 hours in advance. 

SENIOR MAINTENANCE : 

Many older adults who want to remain in their homes find it difficult because of an inability to do certain tasks.   Some of the tasks we can perform are:  minor repairs to a leaking faucet or toilet, change light bulbs, install hand rails and more.  You are required to pay for the cost of of materials and donations are welcome.
